My husband and I are in our 60s. My husband is a farmer. I am an ESOL teacher at Blue Mountain College. We have 4 children who all live close by and 4 grandchildren. We have had many Japanese students stay with us over the years. We have 4 double beds spare and 3 single beds, so we could hapily host a whole family. We may liek some financial contribution for food after the first month to help out. We live in a rural area - 1.5hrs travel to a city.
My husband & I are happy to offer police vetted accommodation for 2 people in our caring home. As our children have left home, we are able to offer two double bedrooms that share one bathroom. We are situated in South East Auckland, within walking distance to shops and buses. Some contribution towards food would be appreciated, if possible.
We are happy to offer current and fully police vetted homestays with caring and reliable families and tuition to secondary age girls - flexible in regards to numbers. There will be a fee of up to $230 a week for homestay. Tuition fees will be arranged on a case by case basis.
I am the homestay manager for Rotorua English Language Academy. I have hosted many Japanese students in my home since my eldest daughter was 13 - she is now 34. I have visited Japan 5 times and my eldest daughter and son speak Japanese fluently. I have a Japanese son in law who is from Akita. He is now living in NZ. I enjoy sharing my life and culture with Japanese people. Rotorua is a sister city to Beppu. We can take 1-2 people for a week in the month of June, and can pick up from Rotorua Airport.
We can arrange homes for up to 5 students for 2 weeks. They would stay with a student in a family and would attend out school at no charge to them during the length of their stay. We will ensure that the homestay paretns are police vetted. The accommodation cost would be negotiated by us with the homestay parents up to a maximum of NZ$230 per week.
